To be creative you have to become fearless

You yourself are without doubt your strongest enemy trying to create outstanding ideas. First and foremost I want to state that creativity is not an innate talent you either got or you don't. Creativity is all about early specialization and practise. Beatles, Lady Gaga, Picasso and Steve Jobs weren't born with the ability to setting new standards in their line of business. The Beatles started practising together in 1957. After more than 1.200 concerts, they had their first US number one hit in 1964 with "Eight days a week". Secondly you need to become fearless to improve your creative skills. To create is to define and suggest something really really different (and valuable) than whatever is existing in your field. Something that might have tight "business normalizers" thinking and saying you're unrealistic and without any kind of business sense at all. Do you dare to take the risk of ridicule? Do you dare to tell your boss that playing safe is the most risky move at all? If you don't you, your brand and your business won't get anywhere but out of business in the long run. Doing what Apple does is not doing what Apple did. What Apple did and is doing was and is still something entirely different than anyone else is doing. Steve Jobs is fearless, not naive, just fearless.
