Chief Integrity Officer 2.0

Burning calories at the gym. Smiling all over my face having nailed my next blog post. Back at the hotel. Testing my idea by googling CIO as short for Chief Integrity Officer. Dammed. Allready taken. Chief Information Officer as well as Chief Integrity Officer. But not quite anyway. The Chief Integrity Officer of today is primarily focused on legal stuff and business ethics with a defensive mindset determined to avoid big corporate scandals. But The Chief Integrity Officer of the future should also be taking care of everyday business. The Chief Integrity Officer 2.0 should be making sure that the company and all of its brands walks all the talks, and delivers on the brand promise at every internal and external touchpoint. The CIO 2.0 should be making sure that the company tells nothing but true stories. The CIO 2.0 should be banning all the phony advertising delivering no value to the consumer or the brand. The CIO 2.0 should be removing all the me too solutions and hereby reducing market pollution. The CIO 2.0 should be going to work everyday with a clear mission to make the company and it’s brands act according to the values, beliefs and personalities they claim to hold. The Chief Integrity Officer 2.0 should be on a quest to create even more value to the customers and the employees of it’s brands. It’s the Chief Integrity Officer 2.0 that makes the company and it’s brands able to live a healthy and happy live in the transparent society with no markets for dishonest bullshit brands. The Chief Integrity Officer 2.0 will simply be the company’s guardian angel of it’s brands value propositions, the company bottomline, the customers and employees scarce time and happiness at the same time. Everyone should be hiring! Many should be applying!
